I am originally from Caracas, Venezuela, raised by Italian parents. I am a mix of pasta, opera, arepas, and salsa music. Before moving from my country to Connecticut, in the Spring of April 1997, I had eight years of experience working as a writer, editor, and printed media producer in the Venezuelan Oil and Telecommunication companies.
After 19 years of living in Redding, Connecticut, I moved to The Woodlands in 2016 with my husband Juan Raúl, my daughter Valentina (15), and my son Juan Miguel (22). My children attended a Montessori school in Connecticut until the 6th grade where they lived a nourished time of growth in many ways. First as a parent and later as a staff member, I had the fortune of being part of a community completely engaged with the Montessori philosophy that I deeply love and respect. During that time, I worked as an assistant in the Toddler and Early Childhood levels for more than 8 years, plus 5 years as the Spanish Specialist in the Elementary level.
Working at The Grove has returned to me the sense of Montessori community that I so fondly missed. My level of gratitude for this opportunity is surpassed only by the deep joy that I feel when I receive a smile or hug from my wonderful students, as well as the chance to watch them grow, explore, learn, create, and play in a unique environment.
